John Kerr

John Kerr was formerly CEO of the Edexcel Foundation the UK largest awarding body.

John trained as a lawyer and has held legal positions with the London Stock Exchange and the Financial Services Authority.John specialises in providing educational consultancy across a wide range of Higher Education, Technical Training and Schools. Current projects include implementing Canadian software for mathematic teaching in the UK; advising Saudi government on TVET transformation project; adviser for 8 UK Universities on partnerships in South Asia; qualification and curriculum support for Singaporean education group and, special adviser for a Mauritius company setting up an education city.

After leaving Edexcel John was a director of the Edge Foundation and commissioned 3 city academies and the Edge Hotel School.

John is currently an advisor and strategy consultant in education theory and practice for a number of government and private education bodies both within UK and internationally and holds a number of directorships in private education companies specialising in utilising technology in education.

John is an established speaker much in demand on the international circuit including Dubai, London Bahrain and Singapore covering Leadership, Change Management and Technology in Education.
