Welcome to the Riverston Group
The Riverston Group currently owns and operates two schools in the UK - Riverston School in London, and Beech Hall School in Macclesfield (a few miles south of Manchester). Both schools are deliberately non-selective, co-educational, and offers an outstanding mainstream school education for children of differing abilities from 6 months to 16 years at Beech Hall, and further on to 19 years of age at Riverston School. Our post-16 students at Riverston School are offered a wide range of academic courses (GCSE and A levels), together with exciting vocational (BTEC) programmes with accredited skills-based training and employment opportunities, such as:
- Hospitality and Catering
- Travel and Tourism
- Child Care
- Business Studies
- Food Technology
- Animal Management
Riverston Plus is our specialist early intervention department within all Riverston schools for students with specific learning difficulties - including those who are vulnerable and sensitive - requiring speech, language, and communication therapy, and occupational therapy services. Riverston Plus professionally assesses, diagnoses and formulates a range of therapy and counselling programmes for children with mild-moderate difficulties, and provides a bespoke, integrated and inclusive curriculum with an innovative life-skills programme all set within a mainstream school setting.
Riverston Children's Centres provide a multi-disciplinary assessment, diagnosis and intervention service for children of all ages with speech, language and communication difficulties. Whilst Riverston Plus is fully integrated into our schools, Riverston Children's Centres are either stand-alone practices, or are linked to Early Intervention Nurseries.
Our unique Riverston Early Years Framework provides nursery practitioners with the means to assess and identify any developmental delays in the children in their care, and provides structured Child Centred Plans with specific early intervention activities to implement.
The Riverston Training Academy comprises a wide range of practical courses, some of which are accredited to Masters level, aimed at helping teachers, nursery practitioners, parents and carers who are involved in supporting and developing children with additional learning needs.
